Kilometers, meters, miles, and feet
Changing the display unit does not alter the geographic circle. It converts the same physical radius into the selected unit: 1 km is 1,000 m, approximately 0.621371 mi, or approximately 3,280.84 ft. This makes it safe to switch units while collaborating with people who use a different measurement system.
Export metric radius data
GeoJSON and KML exports include polygon coordinates generated around the circle boundary. CSV export includes the center latitude and longitude and stores the radius in meters, an unambiguous standard that mapping and GIS software can convert reliably.
